On behalf of the ADVANCE team, I’d like to welcome you and thank you for your interest in ADVANCE.
ADVANCE is a dual-admission transfer partnership between Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA) and George Mason University (Mason) that is designed to streamline the transfer process for community college students interested in pursuing a bachelor’s degree.
ADVANCE seeks to eliminate many traditional transfer obstacles by supporting learners early on in their educational journey. By providing clearly defined transfer pathways, an ADVANCE coach, and a myriad of academic and co-curricular engagement opportunities, students are able to complete their bachelor’s degree in a more timely, cost-efficient manner.
